Symptoms

An Oracle iPlanet Web Server, configured to use a Webgate NSAPI plugin, crashes when started.

The Web Server's errors log may show the following information related to this crash:

[DATE] catastrophe (PID#): CORE3260: Server crash detected (signal SIGSEGV)
[DATE] info (PID#): CORE3262: Crash occurred in function atoi from module /lib/libc.so.1
