Last updated on MAY 12, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 11.1.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When loading data from one Oracle instance to another, one Date Column's data

05-04-1998 02:00:00

becomes the following after being loaded to target:

1998-04-05 03:00:00.0

It seems java applied the DST rule so it is one hour ahead--DST. However, customer need this data to be loaded to target as is as the column is of Date datatype, a data type with no Timezone information.
