Checking Openmotif RPM packages installed show the correct versions based on documentation (http://download.oracle.com/docs/html/E18558_01/fusion_requirements.htm#BABGBCIG) for Linux  Red Hat Linux 4 x86-64 OS

rpm -qa | grep openmotif
openmotif-2.2.3-10.5.el4
openmotif21-2.1.30-11.RHEL4.6

Running a "rpm -V" command to verify an installed package (This command will list all files that do NOT pass the verify tests (done on size, MD5 signature, etc)) does not show any problem with the installed packages

rpm -V openmotif-2.2.3
rpm -V openmotif21-2.1.30

Checking shared library dependencies for rwserver shows the following output

cd $ORACLE_HOME/bin

ldd rwserver | grep -i libxm
    libXm.so.3 => not found
    libXm.so.3 => not found

The above output confirms that "rwserver" executable is not finding shared library libXm.so.3 even though a find command at OS level shows that libXm.so.3 does exist.

find . -name libXm.so.3 -print

ORACLE_HOME/lib/stubs/libXm.so.3
INSTANCE_HOME/lib32/stubs/libXm.so.3
INSTANCE_HOME/lib/stubs/libXm.so.3
