Symptoms

When trying to view a document in the Imaging Advanced viewer, the following error message occurs:

The Server returned a 401 "unauthorized" error. This could mean that your browser is blocking 3rd party cookies.  Please check this setting, refresh the page and try again.  Server returned HTTP response code 401 for url http://<servername>:16000/imaging/renderimage/export?documentId=<documentId>&version=1&annotations=fasle&color=true&format=ORIGINALORTIFF

Followed by error:

Error Updating Annotations
There was an error deserializing an annotation file for this document
