Goal

How to set up Oracle IPlanet Web Server, such that :

1. Directory listing will be disabled
2. A 403 status code and error file to be returned to client.

Note: If you just want to disable directory listing without setting a 403 response code, then you do not need to follow the steps in below Solution section. See (Doc ID 1303228.1) "How To Disable the Listing of a Directory's Contents" if no 403 code is needed. The response status code will be a 500 when above Doc ID 1303228.1 is used.
