Goal

It is hard to troubleshoot "unable to reach host ORA-XX" errors. SQL*Plus is a good way to determine if an Oracle installation is setup correctly. However, SQL*Plus is not included with ODAC 11.2 Release 3 (11.2.0.2.1)

This document discusses how the SQL*Plus utility could be "added" to the same install of ODAC, thus avoiding installing a separate "Client".

It is assumed that ODAC HOME is "d:\odac"
