JDBC Thin Driver Does Not Print PROGRAM And USER Values In Listener.log (Doc ID 1303351.1)

Last updated on JUNE 07, 2023

Applies to:

JDBC - Version 10.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.3.0 [Release 10.2 to 11.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In the log entries of the listener.log file, information regarding "user" and "program" are not printed when using a JDBC program.

Sample log entry looks like:
27-JAN-2011 10:38:06 * (CONNECT_DATA=(SID=<SID>)(CID=(PROGRAM=)(HOST=__jdbc__)(USER=))) * (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=<HOST>)(PORT=<PORT>)) * establish * <SID>* 0

Is this the expected behavior ? If not, is there a solution ?
