Using SCAN effectively within WebLogic Server

The goal of this note is to establish what are the supported configurations of a Single Client Access Name (SCAN)-based RAC cluster with WebLogic Server (WLS) implementations, that is Data Sources, Multi Data Source, and GridLink.

Many customers attempt to take advantage of SCAN new features such as:
- Fast Connection Failover (FCF)
- Runtime Connection Load-Balancing (RCLB)
