Symptoms

When attempting to upgrade to Oracle iPlanet Web Server 7.0.10 over an existing upgrade of versions covering 7.0u2 through 7.0u9 it will fail with the following error:

An existing installation has been detected. Do you want to upgrade the installation?

1. Yes
2. No

Enter the number corresponding to your choice [1] {"<" goes back, "!" exits} 1

Cannot upgrade the product from version 7.0U6 to 7.0.10.
