WebLogic Fails To Reconnect To MQ Server When Using Foreign JMS And MQ V6 Connections (Doc ID 1309331.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to use Foreign JMS to connect to an IBM Websphere MQ V7 server, the MDB fails to reconnect to the MQ server after an MQ Server restart.

This happens only with MQ Version 6 connections. It works fine using MQ Version 7 connections.

1) Start WebLogic
2) Configure a Foreign JMS server with MQ V7
3) Send a test message
4) Restart the MQ Queue Manager
5) Check the logs.
