Can Content That Matches the "To Date" in UCM Searches Be Returned in the Search Results? (Doc ID 1311575.1)

Goal

The standard search page in Universal Content Management (UCM) allows you to search on dates, with a From Date field and a To Date field.

The search query is sent as follows:

From Date <= searched_date < To Date

This means that if you search with these dates, for example:
From Date: 2011-03-21
To Date: 2011-03-22

You will find all content with the Date of 2011-03-21, but no content with the Date of 2011-03-22.

Is there a way to include the To Date in the query, so content that matches the To Date will also be returned in the search results?
