OVD Manager 10g Login With Admin User Fails With Exception during the connection process: Unable to login to server / <OVD_HOSTNAME>:<OVD_ADMIN_PORT>: (401)Unauthorized (Doc ID 1313709.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) 10.1.4.3 with latest merge patch applied.

Unable to login with OVD Manager to OVD Server using the admin account.

OVD Manager window shows error:

Connect Failed

Exception during the connection process: Unable to login to server
<OVD_HOSTNAME>:<ADMIN_PORT>: (401)Unauthorized


Following are the errors seeing from the OVD Manager window:

Tried recovering the configuration files from a backup but still the same issue occurs.
