FMW 11g Console Fails to Start on Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Doc ID 1314663.1)

Symptoms


Attempting to start WebLogic Application Server fails on Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.

The system was started using the command startWebLogicServer and the errors displayed show that the cwallet.sso file access was denied:

Apr 15, 2011 9:27:32 AM PDT> <Notice> <Log Management> <BEA-170019> <The server log file DOMAIN_HOME\servers\AdminServer\logs\AdminServer.log is opened. All server side log events will be written to this file.>
Apr 15, 2011 9:27:36 AM oracle.security.jps.internal.credstore.ssp.CsfWalletManager openWallet WARNING: Opening of wallet based credential store failed. Reason java.io.IOException: DOMAIN_HOME\config\fmwconfig\bootstrap\cwallet.sso (Access is denied)
Apr 15, 2011 9:27:36 AM oracle.security.jps.internal.keystore.file.FileKeyStoreManager openKeyStore WARNING: Opening of file based farm keystore failed.

Changes

The cwallet.sso file was replaced by another user with different operating system file permissions..
