Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

Oracle provides several single sign-on solutions.  Oracle Access Manager (OAM) is the recommended single sign-on (SSO) solution for Oracle Fusion Middleware enterprise-class installations including WebCenter Content.  OAM is part of Oracle's suite of enterprise-class products for identity management and security. If OSSO is already in place as the enterprise solution for your existing Oracle deployment, Oracle Fusion Middleware continues to support the existing OSSO as a solution.  However, Oracle recommends that you consider upgrading to OAM 11g Single Sign-On solution. For more information, see "Choosing the Right SSO Solution for Your Deployment" in Oracle Fusion Middleware Application Security Guide.

This FAQ note was designed to address the most frequently asked questions about the WCC 11g/12c release and its integration with a variety of Oracle's security solutions. (This document will be continually updated as additional information becomes available).

Audience
Information contained in this document targets all users of the WCC 11g/12c product who wish to integrate WCC with their existing, or new SSO solution(s). This information can also be used when planning WCC 11g/12c installations.
