FTPAdapter not Picking up Available Files when "MinimumAge" Property Added and "UseNlst" Property is Already in Use (Doc ID 1316061.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 08, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version 11.1.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

You have an established installation of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g where you have previously been using the FTP Adapter to successfully poll for and successfully process files that become available on a remote server.

However at a later point you notice that the FTP Adapter has stopped picking up files to process, even though these are available at the FTP server and you see the following error in the Fusion Middleware diagnostic log for the server ($DOMAIN_HOME/servers/<soa_server1>/logs/soa-server1-diagnostic.log):

Changes

You have recently elected to reconfigure the FTP Adapter so that it select files for processing only after they have been available on the remote server long enough to satisfy a minimum age requirement. Since making that change, files that are available at the remote FTP server are not being picked up by the FTP Adapter even after they have been in existence for long enough to satisfy the required minimum age.
