Goal

This document describes steps to configure the Sun Java System Application Server 8.x or GlassFish Server v2.x to use the Oracle JDBC Oracle Call Interface ( OCI ) Driver for Oracle Databases. The Oracle JDBC OCI Driver is a Type II driver used with Java application, and it requires an Oracle client installation and, therefore, is Oracle platform-specific.
