Upgrading Identity Management 10g To 11g Fails During OID Examination Phase With UPGCMP-00208 Error (Doc ID 1320703.1)

While upgrading OID 10g ( to OID

The following tasks have been completed successfully.

a) Installation of IM software
b) Patching of software to

During the running of the Oracle Fusion Middleware Upgrade Assistant the upgrade fails at Step 9 of 12 with the following error:

"UPGAST-00128: Oracle Internet Directory Examination failed. The Assistant will not proceed."

problem if possible, and retry the examination. Do not go on to perform an actual upgrade in upgrade mode unless all components succeed during examination.
