Goal

The goal of this document is to assist in the migration, relocation or rehosting of Application Server 10g Metadata Repositories(MR) to a different server platform.

For example, moving an existing Metadata Repository from a 10.2.0.4 2-node RAC database hosted on Power Series AIX to a 2-node 10.2.0.5 database deployed in an 11gR2 Grid Infrastructure hosted on x86_64 Linux.
