java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.crypto.spec.SecretKeySpec Connecting From Windows Client After Upgrading To Java 1.6 and JDBC 11g (Doc ID 1327446.1)

Symptoms

Database connectivity issue after migrating to windows system from Unix system which was working perfectly fine with java 1.4 and JDBC 10g.
After upgrading to JDBC 11.2.0.2 against database server 11.2.0.2, the following error occurs at connection:


Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.crypto.spec.SecretKeySpec

Changes

Upgrade from Java 1.4 to Java 1.6, and from JDBC 10g to JDBC 11g.
