Users Are Continually Challenged For Authentication When Using Windows 7 And WebDAV

On : version, Content Server

Using WebDav, if the authenticated user logs out, and then tries to log back in, they are continually challenged for authentication. 
Valid credentials are not accepted.
The only way to work around is to delete the webdav folder and recreate.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. From a Windows 7 machine, add a Network Place to access the Content Server via WebDAV.
2. Log out and back in, or restart.
