Symptoms

After a fresh installation of Oracle iPlanet Web Server 7.0.11 on Windows Operating System, the Admin and Web server instances fail to start via the services control manager or the "net start" command.

Example Error:
Server https-web-server-instance-name: config: <CONFIG NAME>: File server.xml line 84: Invalid <host> value: <HOSTNAME.DOMAIN>
