Glassfish Message Queue Process Shutdowns For No Apparent Reason (Doc ID 1331741.1)

Symptoms

There are times when it might appear that the Message Queue (MQ) broker process shutdowns without an administrator physically issuing any shutdown.  Checking the MQ logs, sometimes does reveal that the MQ process was indeed shutting down gracefully on its own.

When you use the imqcmd utility to shutdown the broker, for example:


Notice the message "Shutdown requested by broker administrator" is missing.
