'ERROR ODI-1131 Agent MyAgent encountered an error: ODI-1406' Signalled When Launching The ODI Standalone Agent (Doc ID 1335701.1)

When attempting to launch an ODI Standalone Agent, the following message is signaled (values inside and including their surrounding <> are placeholders, these will reflect differently in the actual environment):


2011-07-05 10:09:09.280 NOTIFICATION ODI-1128 Agent <AGENT_NAME> is starting. Application Server: STANDALONE. Agent Version: - 23/06/2010. Port: <PORT>. JMX Port: <PORT>
2011-07-05 10:09:18.280 ERROR ODI-1430 Agent <AGENT_NAME> cannot clean the stale sessions in work repository <WORK_REPOSITORY> due to a database error.
2011-07-05 10:09:18.315 NOTIFICATION ODI-1136 Starting Schedulers on Agent <AGENT_NAME>
2011-07-05 10:09:19.551 WARNING ODI-1436 Error retrieving ID statistics for repository <WORK_REPOSITORY>.
2011-07-05 10:09:19.558 NOTIFICATION ODI-1111 Agent <AGENT_NAME> started. Agent version: - 23/06/2010. Port: 20910. JMX Port: 21910.
2011-07-05 10:09:19.617 WARNING Error occurred while computing schedules for work repository [<WORK_REPOSITORY>]. Error message : org.springframework.jdbc.CannotGetJdbcConnectionException: Could not get JDBC Connection; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: Exception occurred while getting connection: oracle.ucp.UniversalConnectionPoolException: Cannot get Connection from Datasource
