PDF Files Fail to Import When Capture Import Server Runs as a Service and Files are Processed by Adobe Reader X (Doc ID 1336525.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to process PDF files through the Capture printer and Import Server is running, the PDF files fail to import. The PDF files can be processed successfully if Import Server is running as an application. The following is returned in the Import Server log file:

06/24/11 06:28:00 1105 Start processing batch \\SERVER\Share\Oracle IPM\Test Scan\Sales Orders\Order 1110343.pdf.
06/24/11 06:28:00 1106 Importing Folder / List File Provider batch \\SERVER\Share\Oracle IPM\Test Scan\Sales Orders\Order 1110343.pdf into batch ORD0624112328053.
06/24/11 06:28:00 3116 Processing file [\\SERVER\Share\Oracle IPM\Test Scan\Sales Orders\Order 1110343.pdf].
06/24/11 06:28:02 1133 Outside In was initialized successfully.
06/24/11 06:28:02 1135 The file has been validated by OIT.
06/24/11 06:28:02 1136 Purging all jobs from the Oracle Document Capture printer queue.
06/24/11 06:28:02 1137 File is being processed through the Oracle Document Capture printer.
06/24/11 06:28:32 1316 ***Error***Maximum time between pages exceeded.
06/24/11 06:28:32 1116 No pages were added to the new batch. This batch will be removed.
06/24/11 06:28:32 1310 ***Error*** Error occurred during batch importing, import item \\SERVER\Share\Oracle IPM\Test Scan\Sales Orders\Order 1110343.pdf did not import. Provider: Folder / List File Provider Job: Order Documents
