Imaging is Utilizing the Incorrect IP Instead of the FQDN in URL Generation (Doc ID 1337171.1)

Last updated on APRIL 17, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content: Imaging - Version 11.1.1.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

During the creation of a task from the Imaging Workflow Configuration settings for an Application, the Doc URI being generated in BPEL sets the URL to an IP address. The IP that is being picked up is an inaccessible IP associated to the system for Maintenance. This causes the Generated Doc URI within the BPEL task to be invalid, and users can not access images from the Task Viewer page.

The incorrect URL generation may not be specific to the DOC URI generation.  Viewing images and other Imaging actions may direct the system back to an IP instead of the systems FQDN.

The General system is functional, IPM/AXF both work as expected through the standard client. The tasks are being created correctly, the problem is specific to the Doc URI being generated and associated to the task.
