Symptoms


IBM Websphere application using JDBC 11.2.0.2 fails during sql execution with the following exception:

java.net.SocketException: Connection reset

This occurs only on specific application servers; other application servers with the same configuration do not present the error.

If JDBC 10.2 is used instead of JDBC 11.2 on the failing application servers, the issue does not occur.

Changes

Upgrade to JDBC 11.2.0.2.
