Symptoms

On the Windows operating system, the Oracle iPlanet web server process shuts down and restarts itself. The web server access logs and error logs does not indicate any web user activity when the web server shuts down. Using Windows eventvwr command, the "Windows Application Event Log" shows the following error:

The web server errors log shows that the web server process restarted without any explicit shutdown or restart action.
