Goal

The purpose of this document is to describe the end-to-end setup and examples, using global XA transactions, for enqueue and dequeue of messages between a WebSphere MQ server and 11g SOA Suite using the JMS adapter. This interaction is commonly known as "Configuring Oracle JMS Adapter with IBM WebSphere MQ JMS" and will be referred to in this article as the MQ-JMS adapter. 

Also discussed are the concepts of MQ Queues and Topics, non-durable and durable subscribers, setup prerequisites, known issues, common errors and solutions.

This article is primarily concerned with SOA Suite versions 11.1.1.4 and above used in conjunction with WebSphere MQ server verison 7.x.
