Symptoms


Subscription/Notification email address appends Server Name in a High Availability (HA) environment/setup.

For example, if there are 2 nodes in the cluster:


then the sender's email address will be in the following format:



EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Server Name should not be appended to the sender's Subscription/Notification email address.

Changes

 

  1. Setup Notifications in WebCenter Spaces with Mail Server as indicated here:

  2. Test the notifications or subscriptions email.
    In the notification email, you will notice that the server name of one of the nodes (in the cluster) is appended to the email address of the sender.
