Error Executing Idcommand with 10g IRM Integration (Doc ID 1351888.1)

Symptoms

  • Using UCM 10g and IRM integration 5.5.8.72, checking in a file into content server using the IdcCommand utlity fails.
  • The xIRMProtection Field is hardcoded in the command file and and passed along with the IdcCommand request.
  • The checkin from IdcCommand works properly for files that are not sealed with IRM.
The following error is seen in the Content Server Log file:

  • By checking in --same document, same metadata-- through the UCM web interface, everything works, and the document is sealed.
