This note addresses behavior of the Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control 11g console (FMWControl) in a FMW Reports environment. As such, the issue described is seen using the Reports FMWControl, which uses a Grid Control 10.2.0.5 agent for response, metric, and job collections.
Symptoms
FMW Forms/Reports install, version 11g
Using Fusion Middleware Control (FMWControl):
When trying to get the job metrics for the report server at EM url http://host:wlsport/em, receive message:
Error:
Failed to get requested metrics from the EM Agent, with error:
Result has repeating key value : ,
The ORACLE_INSTANCE/EMAGENT/emagent_<instance name>/sysman/log/emagent.trc file may show errors similar to the following:
<timestamp> Thread-<thread number> ERROR engine: [oracle_repapp,/Farm_ClassicDomain/ClassicDomain/WLS_REPORTS/reports(11.1.1.2.0),EngineInfo] : nmeegd_GetMetricData failed : Result has repeating key value : <tr>,
<timestamp> Thread-<thread number> WARN engine: Missing Properties : [serviceURL]
The Report server is up and running. Explicit URL to get jobs status - such as http://host:port/reports/rwservlet/showjobs - works.
