Symptoms

An application deployed on Weblogic and using the JDBC/thin  dms  driver version 11.2.0.1 ( ojdbc6dms.jar )  gets an OAUTH marshaling failure error when connecting to an Oracle database running on an AIX platform.

When the JDBC driver  is switched to a non-dms ojdbc6.jar the error becomes ORA-1017
