The Request Processing Behavior Has Changed in Oracle iPlanet Web Server 7.0 Update 2 Onwards Working with Oracle Weblogic Server (Doc ID 1365317.1)

Symptoms


iPlanet Web Server 7.0 update 2 onwards
Weblogic server 10.3.3

A jsp page on the weblogic server is accessible via iPlanet proxy server if we hit the directory such as "/example/" via wls plugin, however if we hit the same individually such as "/example/index.jsp", getting HTTP4142,File not found message in the iPlanet Web Server error logs as it is trying to find the JSP inside Web Server doc root instead sending the request to Weblogic Server.
