Error "Object variable or With block variable not set" Sending Batches with Scan Only Profile in Distributed Capture (Doc ID 1366116.1)

Symptoms

A Distributed Capture profile that is configured as a "1 - Scan Only" profile is assigned a script that will execute code in the "ecNet_SendBegin" event. When a batch is sent from this profile, the code executes, but an error is returned in the send dialog results and the batch is not successfully sent to the Distributed Capture server. The batch still remains at the client. The error message in the send results is:

Changes

The scan profile recently had the "Scanning Type" setting on the "General" node of the profile changed from "3 - Scan and Index Batches" to "1 - Scan Only".
