SSL Connection Failures Due to Hostname Verification Failed on OID(s) in HA Front-Ended by a Load Balancer

OID SSL, LDAP SSL, SSL, SSL Certificate, SSL load balancer, LBR
Goal
OID servers are in IDM cluster. Connections to individual OID host are managed by a load balancer. How to turn on OID LDAP SSL but not install multiple certificates? Instead, the intention is to use a single SSL certificate issued to the load balancer for every connection to each OID in the cluster.
Observations:
If trying to use on every OID server a SSL certificate with cn=<HOSTNAME1> for first server, and cn=<HOSTNAME2> for server2, there are 2 certificates, hence this is not appropriate.
If using the same certificate with cn=<HOSTNAME1> on both servers, still both OID's will come up, but getting connection failures from one of the OIDs because the hostname verification fails.
