Purpose
This Note explains the Oracle Access Manager ( OAM ) authentication error handling
and configuration options for OAM standalone and Oracle Identity Manager ( OIM ) integrated environments.
The Note covers only the OAM behavior for the LDAP Authentication Module, where users are authenticated by providing username and password.
Scope
This document is intended for OAM administrators and requires a basic understanding of OIM and the LDAP protocol.
