"Include Subfolder" Checkbox for the Folder Field in the Search Form Does Not Bring Back Results from Subfolders (Doc ID 1370439.1)

Symptoms

The Folder field in the search form has an optional checkbox labeled "include subfolders".  When checked, the search results should include documents from the subfolders of the folder selected.  However, the search results do not include documents from the subfolders, only from the parent folder selected.
