NO ANALYTICS EVENT GENERATED IN WEBCENTER PORTAL APPLICATION

Following the instructions outlined in the following document:
Integrating the Analytics Service
In JDeveloper, added Login Metrics and Page Traffic to the home.jspx of the default WebCenter Portal Application.
The problem is there is no data displayed on the Login Metrics task flow nor the Page Traffic task flow after login to the application.
There is no event nor data captured in ACTIVITIES tables. No event captured in collector.trc.
Even there is no data, the graph can be shown with "No Data". That means the connection between the server and collector is working.
When login to Space on the same server (default Space_server) where the application is deployed, we do see event and data upon login to the Space.
