Information in this document applies to any platform.

You are following the Coherence 3.7 Client Guide documentation to make use of the Portable Object Format (POF) auto-indexing that was introduced in the Coherence 3.7 for the Microsoft .NET framework.  When you attempt to create a configuration similar to what is in the documentation:
<?xml version='1.0'?> <pof-config xmlns="">
<user-type> <type-id>1001</type-id> <class-name>com.examples.Person</class-name> <serializer> <class-name>Tangosol.IO.Pof.PofAnnotationSerializer, Coherence</class-name> <init-params> <init-param> <param-type>int</param-type> <param-value>{type-id}</param-value> </init-param> <init-param> <param-type>class</param-type> <param-value>{class}</param-value> </init-param> <init-param> <param-type>boolean</param-type> <param-value>true</param-value> </init-param> </init-params> </serializer> </user-type>
the XML configuration fails to validate.
