Error: The Lock Request From Ejb:Tcimportoperations: During AD Connector Installation on OIM 11g (Doc ID 1383803.1)

Symptoms

While installing the AD connector the popup screen may get blank and several warnings like the one below could be seen in WLS log files:

<Nov 30, 2011 11:46:31 AM BRST> <Warning> <oracle.iam.platformservice.impl> <IAM-1070006> <Caught SQLIntegrityViolationException for /<INSTALL_LOCATION>/Middleware/Oracle_IDM1/server/ConnectorDefaultDirectory/MSFT_AD_Base_9.1.1.7.0/resources/ActiveDirectory_en_US.properties>
..."

After a while the log file shows:

"...
javax.ejb.EJBException: [EJB:010107]The lock request from EJB:tcImportOperationsIntf with primary key:<NUMBER> timed-out after waiting 0 ms. The transaction or thread requesting the lock was:Thread[[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: <TID> for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)',,Pooled Threads].; nested exception is: weblogic.ejb20.locks.LockTimedOutException: [EJB:010107]The lock request from EJB:tcImportOperationsIntf with primary key:<NUMBER> timed-out after waiting 0 ms.
