Symptoms

When attempting to test the connection to an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) version 11.1.1.6 LDAP Driver Data Server created using the external database feature, and the following URL (placeholder values including surrounding <> are used where appropriate):

jdbc:snps:ldap?ldap_url=ldap://<LDAP_HOSTNAME>:<PORT>/&ldap_basedn=ou=People,dc=<DC>&db_user=<SCH_USER>&db_password=<PASSWORD>&db_schema=<SCH_USER>&...db_driver=oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver&db_url=jdbc:oracle:thin:@<HOSTNAME>:<PORT>:<SID>

in which a database schema other than the default schema of the database user account is used to store the LDAP data, then the following message is signaled:

java.sql.SQLException: ODI-40500: Unknown parameter : db_schema
at oracle.odi.jdbc.datasource.LoginTimeoutDatasourceAdapter.doGetConnection(Login TimeoutDatasourceAdapter.java:133)
at oracle.odi.jdbc.datasource.LoginTimeoutDatasourceAdapter.getConnection(LoginTimeoutDatasourceAdapter.java:62)
