Symptoms

When attempting to start the Distributed Capture service the following error is returned:

Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion

The following error was found in the PPS log file:

12/13/11 08:15:29 AM ***Error*** Login failed. Error Number: -2147191493, Error: Login failed.
Error number:20036
Error Description: [The following error occurred connecting to the database:
