ORABPEL-30504 Authentication Problem in Worklist if Using Multiple Authentication Providers

(Doc ID 1391069.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 18, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version 11.1.1.5.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

You defined two Security Realm Providers in Weblogic in order to use LDAP (with Active Directory) and the Default Authenticator provided by weblogic. The LDAP provider is in first order with the JAAS Flag as “SUFFICIENT” and the DefaultAuthenticator is second, also with the JAAS flag as “SUFFICIENT”. Using the Weblogic’s Console you can see all the users and groups from both providers, and also, you can initiate session in console and in the Enterprise Manager. When you try to log into the Worklist Application with the “weblogic” user the following error occurs:

[2011-12-12T15:05:24.175-05:00] [soa_server1] [ERROR] [] [oracle.soa.services.workflow.query] [tid: [ACTIVE].ExecuteThread: '13' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [userId: weblogic] [ecid: a3fae0a18df8a8ec:-39e19a22:1341eef6287:-8000-0000000000003509,1:31529] [APP: soa-infra] <.> Internal error in Verification Service.[[
