Analytics Service Is Not Available: Datasource Could Not Be Found When Accessing Spaces Directly Through Individual Cluster Nodes Of The Weblogic Cluster (Doc ID 1399137.1)

In a High Availability environment with Analytics configured,  users who access the nodes directly may see the following error in the Analytics task flows:
Analytics Service is not available: datasource could not be found.

The WC_Spaces managed server logs will report the following:

[SomeTimeStamp][WC_Spaces-02] [ERROR] [] [] [tid: [ACTIVE].ExecuteThread: '16' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [ecid: 304c7fd7372488af:5737cce4:130aeb65411:-7ffe-0000000000001317,0] [APP: webcenter#] Cannot get valid DB Provider[
Caused by: Error obtaining datasource 'java:/comp/env/jdbc/ActivitiesDS'
Caused by: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: remaining name: /comp/env/jdbc/ActivitiesDS
