Symptoms

In a High Availability environment with Analytics configured,  users who access the nodes directly may see the following error in the Analytics task flows:
Analytics Service is not available: datasource could not be found.
 
The WC_Spaces managed server logs will report the following:

[WC_Spaces-02] [ERROR] [] [oracle.webcenter.analytics.model.dataprovider.ReportDataProvider] [tid: [ACTIVE].ExecuteThread: '16' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [ecid: <ECID>] [APP: webcenter#11.1.1.4.0] Cannot get valid DB Provider[
java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError
...
Caused by: com.plumtree.analytics.core.exception.AnalyticsRuntimeException: Error obtaining datasource 'java:/comp/env/jdbc/ActivitiesDS'
...
Caused by: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: remaining name: /comp/env/jdbc/ActivitiesDS
