Errors -12044 and -611 During Mirror Site Configuration (Doc ID 1401839.1)

Symptoms

When performing a Mirror Site configuration for a destination, an error is given in the UI:

Error publishing {component} -12044, [pagename=OpenMarket/Xcelerate/Admin/MirrorSitePost] Error:  com.openmarket.xcelerate.commands.{class name}: Publish:  com.openmarket.basic.interfaces.AssetException: Remote object save didn't fire  [error was -611].

The source server's sites.log contains errors:

The target server's sites.log contains errors:

java.sql.SQLException: Violation of unique index {index name}: duplicate value(s) for column(s)
{index columns}

Note: these errors can happen for multiple components of Mirror Site Configuration. As such the table names, class names, etc can have different values, as listed in the table below.
