OVD 11g FlatTree Plug-In does not handle special characters and does recursive search for users with special characters (Doc ID 1404268.1)

Symptoms

When applying a FlatTree (com.octetstring.vde.chain.plugins.dynamic.FlatTree)
plugin to an AD adapter for OVD the user object (CN) containing special
(escaped) characters are not being display, Shows no attributes in LDAP browser and User Entry shown with a folder icon.
Example of user:
CN=testuser\, lastname,cn=adusers,dc=com
