Can Not Remove User from Portal Connection List After User is Removed from Identity Store

Trying to delete a user from the Connections List and seeing the following error:
"User: null not found in identity store."
Oracle Internet Directory (OID) is being used for the identity store and the user in question was deleted from OID (or other backend LDAP server) a while back.
Unable to remove the user from the Connections, Members, etc. list.
The user has been deleted from the backend LDAP server.
