The Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator's Guide for Oracle WebCenter 11g Release 1 (18.104.22.168.0) document, Section 13.4 Configuring Analytics Collector Settings, explains how to configure the Analytics Collector for clustering. Unfortunately, you cannot currently cluster the Analytics collector instances. You can use Analytics collectors to gather event data from all WebCenter Portal/Spaces instances in a cluster, but each instance can only communicate to one dedicated Analytics collector instance on the same machine. All of these Analytics collectors write events from all Portal/Spaces instances to the same database so that all of the data is gathered there. So while Analytics collectors themselves cannot be clustered for load balancing and failover, they can work with an HA, clustered WebCenter Portal environment.
