Fusion Apps: Verify the WebCenter Content Login Service Uses the Same Policy as the Fusion Apps Client Policy (Doc ID 1437200.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 07, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.6.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When integrating WebCenter Content with Oracle Fusion Applications, the WebCenter login service needs an explicit service policy applied to it that must match/correspond to the client policy being leveraged by the Fusion Apps web service client. This can and should be verified using the following approach.

If service policy on WCC login service is set to oracle/wss_saml_or_username_token_service_policy, then the Fusion Apps client policy should be set to oracle/wss10_saml_token_client_policy.

If service policy on WCC login service is set to oracle/wss11_saml_or_username_token_with_message_protection_service_policy then the Fusion Apps client policy should be set to oracle/wss11_saml_token_with_message_protection_client_policy.
