Symptoms

After installing Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 11.1.1.5.0 and followed the documentation to configure audit event DB at : http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15586_01/core.1111/e10043/audpolicy.htm

The events are loaded in the audit.log but not in the audit database <PREFIX>_IAU.

Architecture :

Administrative server : AdminServer
OAM Managed instance : <OAM_MANAGED_SERVER1>

Changes

The default path of the file <OAM_MANAGED_SERVER1>.log was moved to another location using the Weblogic Console:

http://<AdminServerHost>:<port>/console (default port <WLS_ADMIN_PORT>)

WLS Console > Server > <OAM_MANAGED_SERVER1> > Logging > Log file name : logs/<OAM_MANAGED_SERVER1>.log
modified to /otherLocation/OAMLogs/logs/<OAM_MANAGED_SERVER1>.log
